Pandemic

Imagen
Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well.  This week I will write about the pandemic   I believe that a general mental health problem generated in the pandemic is anxiety. this may be due to the confinement and uncertainty caused by the pandemic. I have personally experienced this mental health problem in the general population.  To cope with the confinement I try to have a routine (although in this situation it is very difficult) and do things that I like. For example: I try to do yoga every morning, not miss the most important meals, cook, tidy up, spend time with my sister and brother; and maintain basic things like getting up every day (even that is hard to do sometimes).  The pandemic has meant a radical change in people's lives. It has taken us away from our nearest and dearest, and it has also meant a constant state of stress, which in excess can lead to mental health problems. It has also reflected, in countries like ours, the great inequality and problems of the majority

Hi teacher, girls and boys, today I will write about my favorite vacation!    One summer I went to Torres del Paine with my beautiful friends: Belen, Mariel, Melany, Jota and Jorge. We spent two weeks there and they were the most fun and weirdest of my life. Torres del Paine is a commune located in the south of Chile, it is a really beautiful place.   The first day melany went out to take pictures with jota and they got lost! we had to go out and look for them but we got lost too and we had no signal on the cell phone! finally they helped us to get back and we found ourselves in the cabin, it was so much fun.  A nother funny thing that happened to us was that while we were visiting the national park, we met the singer of a "cumbia rachera(?" band "los charros del humaco" Jorge recognized him and we all took a picture with him. After listening to "Los Charros del Humaco" we listened to the whole trip. And this is my best vacation because I was wit

Guatemala

hello girls, boys, teacher. In this post I will talk about one of the countries I would like to visit. In general, I like and admire Latin American culture. One of the countries that attracts my attention is Guatemala because of its multicultural, multilingual, and multiethnic identity. Guatemala has 25 languages (22 Mayan, Garifuna, Xinca and Spanish). This Central American country is one of the places where the indigenous culture, Mayan in this case, is most respected and valued. In addition to its heritage, this country has beautiful and ancient constructions such as the Temple of the Great Jaguar, which is a funerary temple built by the Mayas. What I like most about Guatemala is the culture, the heritage, tradition, the colors, the dances, the clothes, etc. I would really like to spend some time of my life there and get to know more of its culture and diversity and get to know more about the different Latin American cultures. I hope someday to be able to talk with
